Why We Built This Site
Washington County records are easy to misroute. A docket is the chronological register of a case, but the paper behind an entry may be held by a clerk, restricted in MEC, or require a separate copy request. Circuit and County Court cases, Chancery matters, Justice Court files, municipal citations, and federal cases each have a different custodian or lookup path. The material here identifies those channels and the information a clerk needs to locate a specific record.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Washington County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Mississippi court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages display search tools operated by outside providers. Those providers control their own prices, terms, and results. A referral fee may be earned when a visitor chooses a paid service. Their output is not an official Washington County record and should be confirmed with the originating court or clerk.
